Grounding its findings on a thorough investigation of the effects of migration on economic and social development, Migravalue puts forward a twofold operational proposal that has a strong policy relevance, combining the economic and social realms of the nexus between migration and local development, and thus giving response to the project’s ambition to structure models that can effectively put remittances to productive use for individuals, their families, and the social and economic realms of local development.
